During the past 23 and 24 of September FarbaC was present in the Glaucoma Congress entitled “Glaucoma en la Práctica Diaria” where about 120 ophthalmologists of the pacific area of Mexico got together to talk about the actual surgical techniques, pharmaceutical treatments and best option of combination therapies. The focus was put on treating the patient as an individual. Interest was shown towards the DIATON tonometer since it is an extremely good tool for the preventive medicine something that was underlined as being most important in the “treatment of Glaucoma.”

Por el contrario, la tonometría Diaton™ resuelve la mayoría de los problemas de córnea mediante la aplicación de la Segunda Ley de Newton y un principio balístico para obtener la PIO. Las lecturas con el Tonómetro Diaton™ se realizan sobre el párpado superior, en el tarso sobre la esclera, no sobre la córnea.

Estudios clínicos recientes, tal como "Comparación de la exactitud del Tonómetro Diaton™ transpalpebral versus el tonómetro de aplanación Goldmann, tonómetro de contorno dinámico y Analizador de Respuesta Ocular", concluyeron que: "la tonometría transpalpebral es un método exacto de medición de la PIO que también es independiente de las características biomecánicas de la córnea.
